Property Building in The Okura Prestige Bangkok

My stay at the Okura Prestige was an incredible ending chord for a wonderful holiday in Thailand. I was pleasantly surprised by the unmentioned room upgrade, which spoke volumes to their understated hospitality. The fully equipped room, daily origami surprises, and fresh fruit plates added to the experience, while the stunning views of the city's lively center tempted me to stay in the room or by the infinity pool. The breakfast surpassed my expectations and the staff, from the doorman to the cleaners and the hotel manager, displayed exceptional hospitality. I hope to be back soon!

Breakfast, Food in The Okura Prestige Bangkok

I reaaaaaallly love the corner room! The view is magnificent! I have three large windows: at the bathroom, behind my bed and at the left side of my bed. Location is really close to bts and large malls: terminal 21, central world, gaysorn, and many more. It is also close to lumphini park and many restaurants and cafes nearby. The staff, especially at the receptionist and the room cleaning staff are really friendly. Also the friendly waitress when I had late dinner at up above restaurant. Oh in addition, I also loveeee the coffee machine. During the 3 days stay, they always refill the coffee capsules.

Restaurant/Places to Eat in The Okura Prestige Bangkok

This was our second stay at Okura and we were very pleased overall. This is a great location right in the heart of the CBD and shopping area with the Sky Train connected to the hotel. The staff, especially in reception, concierge and the breakfast restaurant are very courteous and helpful. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable with fab views of the city. And the breakfast, albeit crowded at times, remains excellent. It was also brilliant to see the General Manager, Niek Hammer, out and about every day helping with the breakfast service, problem solving, and chatting to guests. Other hotel GMs should take note!

Spa and wellness centre/facilities in The Okura Prestige Bangkok

The room was very nice and spacious, as was the bathroom. There was plenty of amenities and the club bonus was very suitable and beneficial for me. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of dishes, and also everyday there was some minor changes to different sections. The facilities was also very nice, I did not use the swimming pool but I did see it and looked really nice with an awesome view. The spa service was very good. Location wise, it is very convenient as there is a direct covered path to the BTS Phloen Chit, as well to the Central Embassy. There is also a relatively large 7-11 at the building connecting to the hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly and was able to answer my questions with great responses and aid.

Love the breakfast options provided, can choose either the continental buffet breakfast or the Japanese breakfast bento which is unique if compare to other 5 star hotel. The location is superb just less than 200 meter away from the BTS Phloen Chit Station, and it even has a connecting bridge from the station directly to the hotel. By walking distance it is not even far from shopping district like Central World and Siam Paragon. The swimming pool is the coolest thing that comes with warm salt water maintaining around 30-31 degrees Celsius, and of course the stunning infinity view. The gym also comes with a variety of equipment for cardio and muscle training, not even to mention the Sauna and Steam Room. The bed is comfortable with remote controllable of the room lighting. The room also comes with free Nespresso and also Japanese Green Tea set which is awesome, and delighted with daily fresh fruits provided.

Restaurant/places to eat, Breakfast in The Okura Prestige Bangkok

We choice the Okura Prestige for it's location and its attention to details. We were impressed by the warmth and professionalism of everyone from the Genrral Manager, Mr. Hammer to the entire staff. We enjoyed the option of having a Japanese breakfast or the traditional Asian buffet. Both were plentiful and delicious. We loved that it was close to the Central Embassy Mall. We definitely would stay here again.

View (from property/room), TV/Entertainment Center in The Okura Prestige Bangkok

The hotel itself and its location are fantastic. It is a short walk to the BTS with a sheltered walkway. The breakfast for both international and Japanese is good. I particularly liked their coffee. Our room is clean and the bed is quite comfortable, provided you like soft pillows. However, the aircon is centralised so we can't control the room's temperature. I woke up in the middle of the night because it was too warm. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay in Okura. I will come back again for my next stay in Bangkok.

Facade/entrance, Property Building in The Okura Prestige Bangkok

Great ambience, excellent staff, plenty amenities. The General Manager Nick Hammer and his team have perfected the art of hospitality. I have never before experienced such a welcoming, attentive and proactive staff. This hotel offers everything - wonderful views, spacious and comfortable rooms, decent gym, outdoor infinity pool on the 25th floor, amongst others. I extended my stay and booked it already for another stay - highly recommended!
